The Waitemata Harbour takes on a more gentle character when enjoyed on the traditional steam tug, William C Daldy.
She is a multilevel all weather vessel, 126FT long by 32FT in the beam & 750 tonnes displacement. Extremely quiet and stable with a very high passenger to space ratio, our guests are encouraged to visit all operational areas of the vessel, including the engine room, boiler room and bridge etc while in action. Be part of a bygone era. A minimum of 15 helpful crew are available to assist with all your needs. The Daldy can accommodate up to 115 passengers! We are based at viaduct harbour in downtown Auckland close to Britomart Transport Terminus and Public Parking. Cruise in style aboard the beautiful & historic William C Daldy. FOOD
Whether it be finger food, a fully catered meal or you choose to cater for yourselves using the onboard facilities provided, our Pursur and galley staff will be on hand to ensure everything runs seamlessly on the day. Prices range from $12 per head upwards for catering. Talk to us about the myriad of choices available. We will help you find something to your taste and budget.Please note that all meals are served buffet style due to on-board seating arrangements
ENTERTAINMENT – Music, DJ’s, or a Live band?
William C Daldy Sound System – Complimentary, Excellent for medium sized crowds. A separate PA System is available for public address announcements. Bring your own Ipod / Phone etc with your favourite tunes and plug in. We will assist you to find a DJ. Prices vary.

The staff on board couldn't have done more for us. Having the Daldy caps, polo shirts and tees as gifts was a great idea to help people remember the great day they had out on one of the greatest harbours in the world.
